Book an Appointment

ATTENTION PLEASE:

I strongly advise prospective new clients to book their Microblading appointments at least 3-4 months in advance of Vacations, Weddings, and Special Occasions.

This allows adequate time for healing of both your Initial Microblading Appointment as well as a Touch-Up Enhancement Session 6-8 Weeks prior. To have perfect brows it is a multi step process. Dream brows cannot be achieved in just one session. Some clients need more than two sessions to achieve their desire density and shape.

Permanent Makeup is NOT recommended for clients who are or have:

  • Pregnant or Nursing

  • Diabetic

  • Viral infections and/or diseases

  • Epilepsy

  • A Pacemaker or major heart problems

  • Had an Organ transplant

  • Tendency towards keloids

  • Seborrheic dermatitis

  • Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)

  • Sick (cold, flu, etc.)

  • Had Botox in the past 2 months

  • Have upcoming vacations or special occasions planned.

  • Used Accutane in the past year

  • Allergic to anesthetic (Lidocaine)

Micropigmentation Brows BEFORE-Care

  • Do not work out 24 hours before the procedure.
  • NO alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before the procedure (Yes, there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!).
  • Avoid sun and tanning for one week prior to the procedure.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure. Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), and “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements 48 hours prior to the procedure.
  • Discontinue Retin-A at least 4 weeks prior (and avoid on eyebrow area after the procedure).
  • Refrain from the use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior (and avoid on the eyebrow area after the procedure).
  • Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided for 1 month prior to the procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables.
  • No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!
    Avoid Chemical Peels,
  • Microdermabrasion or facials for 4 weeks prior procedure.

Micropigmentation Brows AFTER-Care

  • Keep the the brow area clean by using a natural fragrance-free gel cleanser (such as Cetaphil) and water.  Hands must be freshly cleaned.
  • Avoid the use of abrasive washcloths or sponges.
  • Allow eyebrows to completely air dry before applying ointment. Apply the after-care ointment given (for the number of days recommended by your artist) with freshly washed hands or a Q-Tip.
  • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss!
  • COMPLETELY avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure.  Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while it is healing and can also cause hyperpigmentation and scarring.
  • Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers, and/or hot baths for 3 weeks.
  • Avoid sweating for a full 10 days. Any physical effort, gym, hot weather, or any other activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows will expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results.
  • Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for the first 10 days.
  • Keep your bangs and hair pulled back from your face for the first 10 days.
  • NO makeup or skincare products are to be used on the treated area for two weeks.
  • NO facials, chemical treatments, and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
  • NO botox for 4 weeks. We recommend that it’s best to wait until after your touch-up heals to get Botox, as an educated injector will take your new brows into consideration when choosing where to inject.
  • After 10 days, once the area has healed completely, consider using sunblock when going out in the sun to stop the color from fading.
  • Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks after your procedure.
  • Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels, and Microderms around the brow area once healed.
  • Please note: Eyebrows will appear darker and bolder due to natural healing for the first two weeks. This is very common for all permanent cosmetic procedures.

Lip Blush BEFORE-Care

  • Absolutely NO sun, sweating, or tanning prior to the procedure and up to 1 week after the procedure. Avoid tanning or sun exposure on your face prior to your procedure. The tan will exfoliate after a few days taking color with it as it fades.

  • Do not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat expands the pores. It is recommended not to sweat (heavily) for the first week after the procedure. Sweat is salty and can prematurely fade the treated area.

  • DO NOT Have ANY facial treatments prior to your appointment for one month this includes BOTOX, LASER, FILLERS, CHEMICAL PEELS, (COSMETIC SURGERIES ETC for 6 weeks prior to your appointment with us). This may result in unnecessary complications for both procedures.

  • Avoid alcohol or caffeine prior to the procedure, this will minimize any oozing or swelling after the procedure.

  • Getting a procedure while on your menstrual cycle can make the treated area hyper-sensitive.

  • You have to be off Accutane for 1 year. NO Exceptions!

  • If you have oily skin, your results WILL appear softer (eyebrows can look solid) in appearance and may require additional procedures.

  • For dark Skin types please note that your permanent makeup will not appear as bold as lighter skin types. (Indian, African American, Filipino, etc.)

  • Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 48-72 hrs prior to your procedure.  Tylenol is fine.

  • If you have a cold sore or are prone to cold sores, you will need to be taking cold sore medication prescribed by your doctor prior to the procedure.  The procedure can trigger the cold sore virus and you may experience a break-out on your lips after the procedure.  By taking the medication, you minimize your chances of a cold sore breaking out.

  • Avoid sunlight. Take care not to expose your face to the sun for about two weeks after you get your tattoo. The sun will fade the pigment, which is still settling into your skin.

Lip Blush AFTER-Care

  • Remember, place nothing on the treated area (except your aftercare product) until healed. This this means no makeup, creams, water (except for cleansing as detailed below), etc.

  • After your procedure, your skin will start forming a protective scab. You may see fluid or ooze on the skin from lymph secretion. The fluid should be dabbed and blotted off with a sterile gauze pad. It can crust the skin over and prevent it from breathing and healing.

  • After 24 hours, clean the treated area daily with mild warm water and non-alcohol soap. Apply soapy solution on a sterile gauze and blot 4 to 5 times to clean. Then blot completely dry. Use patting motions only. No Scrubbing. No rubbing. No wiping. No scratching. Make sure the area is completely dry because germs love moisture!

  • Lips will ooze for a couple days and peel for a week or so. After sleeping, crust will have dried on the lips. Blot with water. Clean and apply aftercare product as directed. Try not to disturb the crust when cleaning and let it fall off by itself. Picking and pulling off skin that is not ready to come off will cause pigment loss and can pull out deeper tissue. The edges or lip Liner will be the last to fall off. Pulling this off will result in an uneven splotchy line or an indented scar.

  • Apply aftercare product on the clean and dry treated area. Place the ointment on the scabs that are beginning to form. If you place ointment on the area and it is not dry, this may cause irritation or an infection and could lead to color loss.

  • Keep your lips moist all the times with the aftercare product. After approximately 3 weeks after the procedure when no more scabs are present, discontinue the aftercare product. Begin to apply sunblock appropriate for lips to protect the pigment and a good lip balm.

  • Lips will be tender at first after the procedure. Drink only through a straw. Choose to only eat foods you can place in your mouth with a fork without touching the lips.

  • Do not eat spicy foods or hot liquids for 48 hours after your procedure. It’s a good idea not to eat oily foods, salty foods, acidic foods or alcohol while healing.

  • Do not get toothpaste on your lips. It’s a good idea to brush your teeth with just water for 72 hrs post-treatment.

  • Do not bleach your teeth until your lips are healed.

  • Do not excessively stretch lips while they are healing with big smiles or pucker lips with smoking. Those motions push and pull against the lip edges, applying tension and friction between the strong normal skin surrounding the mouth and the broken inflamed lip edges. Lip skin is a continuation of the delicate mucous membrane of the mouth. It is not strong like normal skin.
